(Age 14+) Clay Ornament Workshop
Create Day of the Dead sugar skulls in clay.
Crea calaveras de azúcar del Día de los Muertos en arcilla.
This is a clay slab workshop. Students will learn to carve and add 3d clay elements to skull-shapes. You can add holes to hang as ornaments or add to your fall decor.
Workshop includes examples and inspiration, slabs of clay, assortment of tools, cookie cutters, and underglazes to add color.
Light refreshments served.
***Your work will need to be left to dry, fired, dipped in clear glaze, and fired a second time.
Finished kiln-fired pieces will be available for pick up in one week.
