Age 16+ In this watercolor workshop, you will learn 3-5 basic watercolor techniques and receive individualized prompts and tips for starting your own watercolor painting journey. We will warm up with some simple brush stroke techniques and move into layering colors, focusing on paint-to-water ratio and some basic color theory.
All supplies included and students will receive some favors to take home to continue working in this media.
The instructor, Stephanie Sherman of New Bedford Pottery, received her BFA in Fine Arts/2D studies from UMass, Dartmouth in 2006 and her Master of Arts in Art Education from Boston University in 2012.
